Although you wouldn’t believe it by looking up at the sky, summer is just around the corner.
This means thinking about our plans for our holidays. Do we go to the beach or the mountains? In Spain or abroad? To help with the difficult decision I am going to tell you a little bit about one of our destinations for the summer, Cambridge.
Welcome back I hope you all enjoyed your Easter break and are back recharged and ready for the last term.
This Easter for the first time in four years I stayed in Spain. And I must say that it was a completely new and i9nteresting experience. I witnessed a tradition which for an Englishman seems rather unusual and at times overwhelming.
After nearly three months of hard work and study I'm sure you're all looking forward to a well deserved break. Well done to all those who have had exams and achieved their goals.
Before you completely switch off I wanted to give you one last thing to think about.

As you can see from the picture above there is a common modern comercial theme of chicks, rabbits and chocolate eggs. In reality these symbols of Easter date back to the Pagan origins.

be translated with commitment. Compromise refers to making concessions to

There are several words in Spanish that are similar in English, but have a different meaning. These are often confused by Spanish people learning English. This week I’m going to start by giving you three of these false friends or false cognates. Every week I will give you two more so that you can gradually build your own false friend dictionary. Como cada año hemos participado en el Salón de los Idiomas de Madrid. Ha sido una oportunidad estupenda de dar a conocer los programas nuevos que este año tenemos y para difundir el éxito de tantos programas que venimos realizando ya durante 8 años.
