Today was our first day of camp, and the team at Gredos was thrilled to welcome our 2026 campers—some familiar faces returning for another summer, and some joining us for the very first time. After everyone arrived in the afternoon, we headed straight to lunch. Following long journeys from near and far, everyone was ready for a good meal before settling in and getting to know one another.

We then spent the rest of the afternoon playing fun games indoors before heading outside once the sun came out. We listened to music, had a dance, ran around together, and enjoyed spending time getting to know each other. After all the fun, we had a lovely dinner of soup and meat.

Our campers have just finished their final activity of the day and are now heading to bed. I imagine they’ll all be fast asleep after such a long and exciting first day! We’re all looking forward to tomorrow, when we’ll be having our first English lessons and taking a trip to our natural pool. We can’t wait to see what the day brings.
