Our last full day of camp started with the kids tidying up their rooms and the common spaces. They also started packing their suitcases. Then everyone played an interactive map-based Scavenger Hunt in which they hunted for clues, responded to riddles and chose their own adventure to win coins. They all did an excellent job and didn’t want to stop playing!

After potato salad and peaches the kids enjoyed some free time and finished the tournaments of drawing, fussball and chess, whereupon the final champions were revealed. Then it was time for the long-awaited market! The students used the coins they had collected throughout the Camp to buy items of varying value. Some items included local artisan crafts, toys and sourvenirs for their friends and family.

In the afternoon, everyone played outdoor team games and enjoyed their last activities together before a final barbecue feast. With full stomachs and happy hearts the campers, monitors and teachers all danced, laughed and sang for the farewell party.
