Day 5: Dancing at the pool!
How are we half way through camp already?? Time really flies when you’re having fun!
This morning we had a short English class, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have time for fun! The Ponies were really creative, using recycled materials to make a range of new items, including a piggy bank, and, erm, a banana. Why not.
Then it was time to go to the pool again! It’s been very hot the last few days so the water temperature was wonderful. Everyone had a lot of fun swimming, playing, and being thrown about by the teachers and monitors!
Those who weren’t in the pool had a lot of fun too, spending time with their camp buddies in lots of different ways. There were games of chess and Uno, Evelina and Emma tried to catch a lizard, Samuel gave massages, and some people just chose to relax a little!
Of course, things are never quiet for very long! In the afternoon, the boys and girls had a dance battle. As one of the judges, I have to say the boys were better! The girls showed some wonderful individual talent (Ariadna was very energetic, Nikole showed off some gymnastic moves, and Patricia did her best to lead the group!) but the boys were much more coordinated! Alex amazed us all with his skills, and Hugo and Dario’s pairs dance will stay with us all for a long time!
After all that energy, everyone was ready for dinner, and absolutely devoured the fish soup, then Spanish omelette, then fruit! Now time for one last game before bed, and an early morning tomorrow for the day everyone’s been looking forward to – the adventure park!
