Our final day of camp has come. We spent the day happy and cheerful, not thinking about the goodbyes of tomorrow.

This morning the explorers played water games outside in the sun and petted the animals, whilst the arts & crafts campers finished their tote bags and made some other cards and masks using flowers they picked from the garden. We had an amazing last morning together, enjoying each others company and soaking up the sun before the storm hit…

In the afternoon a rain storm hit us so we stayed inside the farm to play activities. Amongst gossiping, playing dress up and singing, we also ran the market. The campers could go to the market and buy what they could with the coins that they won over the 10 days. Some of our campers earned themselves 15 coins and they used them to buy a keyring or a bracelet that was on sale.

Now we have just had our goodbye party. The teachers gave certificates to their students and we handed out our thank you letters we made for the monitors in class. We then had our talent show, where we had some dancers, some singers and a magician! After, we had a boogie on the dancefloor for one final farewell, the campers really know how to dance! They are all fast asleep now, ready to see their family tomorrow. Its fair to say this has been a final day well spent.
