Day 2: First English classes, Scavenging and Horse Riding
Today the students were grouped into two classes: the Rabbits and the Ducklings. Each group received their camp passports and booklets. After some introductory games, the students reviewed vocabulary related to farm animals and had the chance to visit and hold some of the animals living at the farm.
After a lunch of fried eggs, rice and tomato followed by a piece of fruit, the students enjoyed some free time to write letters to their new friends and decorate their bedroom doors.
After that, the Horse Riders had their first riding experience at camp while the Explorers took part in a team scavenger hunt around the house and the farm. They had so much fun with the many different challenges and all earned rewards for their efforts.
Everyone is looking forward to a completely different day tomorrow at the swimming pool. It’s a whole new day full of opportunities to practice their English and try new activities!
