The first day of camp finally arrived, and it’s flown by! Once the children had all arrived, we ate lunch together and what better way to get to know one another than over a plate of Florentino’s now famous paella. It’s been amazing to see how quickly the children have all made friends, and settled into this beautiful house which will be their home for the next week or two.

We’ve had a great afternoon full of laughter and smiles. With everyone settled into their rooms, it was time to get the first activities underway. It’s only been a few hours and it’s amazing to see how our campers are already flowing with English conversation.

Some night games in the garden rounded off day one here on camp, and with talk soon turning to the exciting prospects of their first day of class and other amazing activities, all our campers have crept off to bed for a good night’s rest. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring. Good night!
