Time to seize the day!

Today was the day everyone had been waiting for – the swimming pool. The beautiful weather made the chilly water a welcomed relief.

While some campers preferred playing football, volleyball or board games, quite a few campers made it their mission to get everyone in the water. Giggles and squeels could be heard all around the natural pools as the children ran around splashing and dumping water on one another.

After our first dip and a great lunch, everyone got to enjoy a sweet treat from the local café. You can´t go wrong with ice cream on a hot day.

Later we made our way back to the pool by making a short detour to the river. The kids enjoyed their endless hunt for rivers crabs and challenges to earn coins.

Finally, it was time to wrap up our day of fun in the sun and head back to the farm. For some reason, the bus ride back to camp today was very quiet – I wonder why!

After all of that, the children still found the energy to play the night game which was filled with booby traps and obstacles that made it difficult for them to steal the objects they needed before getting eliminated by the monitors.
