Rise and shine.

Today was an early start so that we could set off for a day of thrills, relaxing at the river, and enjoying the sunshine.

At the Adventure Park the campers spent several hours climbing from obstacle to another on the rope course. The oldest and tallest of the kids were able to take on the blue course – the spider web was a huge hit! Meanwhile the younger campers loved the green and yellow courses, especially passing through the wooden tunnel. Of course, everyone´s favorite part was the zipline at the end of each one.

Also, they were able to receive a hands-on archery lesson in which several students learned how to safely and properly enjoy the sport. By the end, many of the students even managed to pop the balloon taped to the target.

Afterwards the group took a short walk through the forest down to have lunch by the river. The sunshine was an absolute must as the river was cold, but everyone enjoyed splashing around and looking for river crabs.

This evening dinner was cinema style in the game room. The kids watched The Karate Kid from the comfort of pillows and cushions as they ate hot dogs. There were a lot of sleepy faces headed up the stairs after such a long day!
